INNOVATION IN AVIATION TECHNOLOGY SINCE 2006

3D WEATHER
The world's only atmospheric digital twin

3D WEATHER Technology

3D WEATHER is the world's first computer-generated, real-time/forecast 3D representation of the entire atmospheric environment. It delivers aircraft-to-weather, aircraft-to-aircraft and aircraft-to-ground awareness & deconfliction. The technology includes flight path construction to identify where flights intersect weather in time & space, including for over-the-horizon (OTH) representation for Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) use.

Original 3D WEATHER

3D WEATHER originated in 2001 with a simple visual flightcast algorithm. Flightprofiler LLC was launched in 2006 to get that technology into the hands of the aviation pilots that needed it. In 2017 that effort accelerated when the FAA joined the team and began leading refinement of the technology. The 3D Weather technology has evolved for drone, UAS and AAM operations.

3D WEATHER Today

3D WEATHER is 24X7 live and operational throughout the US for ATM and UTM. It enables compliance with FAA regulatory criteria for operators, controllers and pilots. Access is restricted to select government users and select commercial customers. Please contact us for access.

3D ATC
The future of Air Traffic Control

3D ATC Technology

3D ATC enables air traffic controllers to manage air space in its intrinsic dimensions. 3D ATC merges multiple capabilities to provide ATC with true National Airspace System (NAS) cognizance.

Original 3D ATC

3D ATC provides data where it occurs. Traffic flow compression at altitude, PIREPS in the atmosphere and aircraft-to-weather situational awareness are just a few of the nextgen capabilities the technology provides to controllers.

`

3D ATC Today

“Stay clear of clouds” is a daily example of ATC having to turn over their responsibility to pilots. With 3D ATC, controllers can direct “fly heading 070° to stay clear of clouds” and fully deliver on their mission to keep the air traffic system safe, efficient, and orderly.

LOW ALTITUDE WEATHER NETWORK (LAWN)
More Weather, More Places

LAWN Technology

LAWN is a distributed and meshed network of low-cost weather sensors that provides accurate low-altitude aviation meteorological data not delivered by other sources. Independently-powered, off-grid and nearly instantaneous transmission with Level 5 cyber security. It is used for UAS, AAM, UTM, General Aviation and the US Military. The technology also incorporates advanced Machine Learning Algorithms & Techniques.

Original LAWN

LAWN originated with a US Air Force Agility Prime Contract awarded on Dec 2, 2020. The LAWN technology expanded under an Ohio Federal Research Network (OFRN) contract that includes Ohio State University, Ohio University and several Federal Agencies.

LAWN Today

LAWN is live in Springfield, Ohio at the National AAM Center. The technology is protected as Flightprofiler, USAF, OFRN, Ohio University and Ohio State University Intellectual Property. It is available in all 50 states and with select international customers. LAWN includes some of the most innovative AI/ML techniques available in meteorology today.

VISIBILITY TOOL
Turn Your Smart Phone into a Weather Sensor

VISIBILITY TOOL Technology

OBTAIN YOUR OWN WEATHER DATA: This Visibility Tool is LAWN's launch technology and enables users to turn their smart phone into a cutting edge meteorological sensing device.

Applications

This technology is for first responders that need to safely establish landing zones for Medevac or Police helicopters. It helps General Aviation and drone pilots differentiate between VMC and IMC. The tool is available to the general public and can be leveraged for pulmonary/health monitoring, boating & marine activities, golfing, photography, and other pursuits where it is important to know atmospheric conditions.

Access

LAWN's Visibility Tool can be pointed in any direction, on-demand, thanks to being installed on a mobile phone. The technology can be found at the Google and Apple app stores by searching for "Visibility Tool" or "LAWN Visibility Tool"
